Thanks Cinda. That's what the people I make them for say. My friend in Canada uses them as Hot Plate Holders.

It's true! My daughter made some for me and I don't use them because they are also pretty.

Thanks so much for your kind comments. I really enjoy making them. I had much more than what's shown here and took them all on vacation with me to show my cousin, and to have her pick out a couple for herself. She ended up taking (3) sets, and said she was keeping the rest of them to give as Xmas Gifs. scratch

I was Only taking them to show her what they looked like and maybe she could make her own gifts. I finally gave my cousin, Marc a set, my cousin, Pearl and my daughter a set... The rest, I guess is going to Vonnie's gift packs for 2015... whacky

When I returned, my other daughter who lives in town said she would like one, so I made her this purple set.

Very nice! I've had some crocheted dish cloths, though not this pretty, just a solid color and they worked really well as dish cloths.

You're Welcome! I can see how it would help you relax. When I used varigated yarn in the past, I like it because it makes a pattern within a pattern.

Whoa! big storm outside. I can hear thunder crashing overhead and rain pourin down. That's a rare sound here in the desert.
