"I would like to quote a poem which I hope will bring you comfort.
Then he began . . .
"Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more, day by day,
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that I once had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad."

mickeywave  Hi Daisy,

Oh, so sad sad to see that Larry died. Although I knew it was coming. At least, he got to see and spend time with his grandchildren and see his children settled and married with families of their. I like the way that you did the funeral announcement with the picture.

You do such great eulogies and I loved he poem that Rev. Brown shared in the cemetary. (I had to go into work this morning for a little while and on my way back I heard a song that I love and that might apply here, the words of the chorus that I recall are "I'm not home yet, this is not where I belong; Take this world and give me Jesus . . . . ". It one of the songs I like so much that I turn up the radio in the car. Laughing ) It was nice to see Rhy comfort Kevin at Larry's funeral.

I see that Mary Lou is still trying to solve problems for Carrie. Guess she didn't hear Carrie when Carrie said she wanted to take care of the problem or in other words didn't want Mary Lou to interfere. Well, I guess that Carrie is still her "baby". It appears that Rhys will not be getting involved. I wonder if Ryan will be getting a visit from Mary Lou in the future--guess time will tell. Also, wondering how long Ryan and Sarah will be together.

tnx4sharing  Thanks for the update!

Awww, A Buford Falls Funeral Sympathy017 to your Anderson family.  I was sad to hear he had passed, but thought it was about time for him.

How old was he, Daisy?  You just couldn't keep him any longer, huh?  I'm sad  as I've followed him all thru your stories.  R.I.P. Larry!  You will be missed. crying

I knew that Mary Lou would get to Rhys sooner or later.  I'm sure she will be knocking at Ryan's head pretty soon.  Mary Lou is one to confront issues head on, and speaks her mind. Carrie asked her mother to butt out, that's what she should do, but she's just looking out for her daughter.  I can understand fully where's she coming from.  It's hard for mother's to turn their head and act like all is well.

I enjoy your, Births and B-Day, Wedding, and Funeral Celebrations.  Your prayers and eulogies are so nice.  They make me feel sad crying  for your simmies.
