| Hi, Neff! That's an amazing job! With the limitations of TS3 for building, you have made the new look similar to the picture. Did you have the inside floor plan and do that as well or did you do your own indoor plan? Excellent job! Lilly | |

| Neff, I was playing my TS2 game last night (I don't have TS3, so not sure it this will work but thought I'd throw it out there--just in case). I was playing in a house with a situation similar to the overhange you need in this house. There were floor tiles that extended out and then walls and a roof on top. There were no walls on the first level. When I build something similar (with moveObjects on--at least for TS2), I just extend the floor (or maybe, if you have them, use ceiling tiles). If I want the floor to extend further than the tiles go since the reach is limited--I put in columns to hold the floor tiles--deleting the ones I dont' want later with the "magic hammer" tool. The only problem to this is if you want to later change the tiles you have to put the columns back first, so it's a littlel more work. Then you should be able to place the roof with the front wall only, over the area. I think that you may also be able to remove the floor tiles without the roof disappearing but I haven't tried that in TS2 and I'm not sure it will work in either TS2 or TS3. So, it's just a thought. I know to build certain parts of a structure, I have to get fairly creative. Or, use someone else's creativity to help me out. I read somewhere that when EA employees built TS2 houses, etc, they built them with the "moveObjects on" option. Oh, you might have to put the roof over the section that comes out on the second floor separately from the rest--or the game may do it automatically. Good luck. I hope that you figure it out. | Thank you, Lilly i managed to figure it out lol. anyway there is a delay with the lot i am not quite done with it, my sim just got back from France as she just bought up all the books to put on the shelves of the home so this house now has every skill book in game, every fishing book in game, every recipe book and every general reading book in game. this lot has a basement but it goes down by 3 levels so i will be building a room for wedding's and part's a gym a games room and a wine cellar, the wine cellar is already full of wine and also 5 wine maker machines. there is also 3 treasure chests one from china one from france and one from egypt one chest contains gems ect, one has a starter kit for any adventurer which contains 70 shower in a can, 70 high quality food a large 2 bedroom tent a camera and the axe from china. and the other chest contains a mixture of other small gifts from me to all who download this lot. anyway i will give more in the description when i upload it. i have worked hard on this lot and my sim has done well too as she has had to travel to get things for this lot and she is in the process of painting beautiful paintings for the home which are all worth well over 1000 simoleons. | |

| Glad that you figured it out, Neff. Sounds like you have put a lot of work into the house. I hope it's the way you want it to be when you get it finished. Lilly | |

| I was going to make the same suggestion as Lilly, but thought it would not work as you were playing TS3 and not TS2. This is gonna be some house, Nef. Can't wait to see the finished product. | |
