A Funny Idea

ok this idea just come into my head. i make beaded jewellery and sell it, well i just finished up on a project on my beading loom and jus come onto the site i saw the plumbob and had this crazy idea of making a bracelet on the loom and put plumbobs on it, sorry i just had to share that lol

it is going to look great, i have done the design on graph paper just need to get the loom ready to start it, once it is finished i will put up a picture of it Smile

mite even put it up for grabs in a contest who know's Smile

I think that's a great idea. I've seen other arts/crafts projects where the plumbob design was used -- like in wind chimes (some had a green plumbobs and some had multi-color plumbobs like a rainbow of colors). They looked very nice, so I'm sure your bracelet will also turn out very nice. Lilly Smile

hi guys well i finished it but really not happy with it lol and that is a first for me i think i should have made it a bit wider anyway its finished took me many hours to make it on my loom. the pic is rubbish because it is dark here now. but any ways here it is. i mite rip it apart yet because i don't like it but i did say i would show you it

Sounds like it wasn't what you had in mind, although it looks like a nice bracelet to me. Now, you have a starting place to get where you want to go. I hope you are able to make the idea work for you. Lilly Smile

Perhaps if you made the design more oblong it would look more like a plumbob. It just looks like a diamond there. But it still looks looks nice. sunny

thanx guys, yes when i got the pattern going i realised it just looked like a diamond lol and i had ran out of white seed beads to use so i used yellow but this one will get pulled apart and i can order some white beads but i have an even better idea now Smile

will take me a couple of weeks maybe less if i work hard on it Smile

but i shall show you all when i is done

hehe glad you like it docs and thank you manda iam actually about to make a beaded tapestry as a weeding gift with the couple's name's on it and the date of the wedding Smile

I don't do bead work but I do do crochet and it really is a pain when things don't turn out how you want them to!
My first attempt at crochet turned out to be a bit weird....
