Custom door, I'm assuming? And who puts a toilet in behind the door?

LOL I've seen a lot of that in the games, all of them. It's like the game is going to let the door go through the sims to allow the sim to finish an interaction. One of my biggest peeves is when a sim walks through a door, the door stays stuck open all the time.

You are so right Cinda. That has happened to me several times. I be wondering, now why is that door stuck?

I've had the doors get stuck open as well. It irritates me. I have to use the moveObjects on cheat to delete the "stuck" door and put in a new one. I'm not sure why they got stuck at some times but not at others. At least I found a way to fix the problem. Before I figured out how to fix the problem, when I first started playing TS2, I wanted to remodel part of a house (bathroom and bedroom) but I could because of the stuck door that I was unable to move. Whenever I tried to delete it, it just said "can't delete an object in use." Glad I figured out how to solve that problem.

I think they get stuck because an object in the way such as a light fixture. Usually, when I'd replace the door it just gets stuck again until I find the offending object and move it.

You are correct Cinda. I figured that one out as well. It was either the toilet or the sink. I just move them, and then changed location of my door.

Hmmmmm, I never figured out there was another object causing the problem, especially not a light fixture. I'll have to check that out when I get my next "stuck" door.
